La Gomera
Church
One of the standard treks from VGR. Can already be started in La Calera. Or at the hamlet La Seda. From there passing the church los Reyes on the south side of the valley. The ascension on a partially steep shepard path until the pass at approx. 800 m.
RedBand
Difficult and badly marked decent towards Viscaina VGR. Starting at the pass at the end of the church trail. Here to the left direction las Hayas. After about 100 m bifurcation left badly marked. Ascent until the pass to VGR. From there about 1 km along a cliff. Partially fallen rocks! Descent on shepard trail and partially rocks and gravel chutes! The view is worth the effort. At the end wait the Papas Braves at the bar Viscaina.

Easy but long trek. Partially on road. Generally downward.
Arure2Alojera
Very nice trip. .1st part along a cliff. Then through grassland and fields.
Chipude2Garajonay
Easy trek passing through fields. Then ascending in riverbed until the forest cabin. From there on a large paved lane until the viewing platform.
CuevasBlancas
The long trek starts at km 8 of TF711 from SS. First part on a shepard trail until crossing (sign post). From there to the right on a nice path until the crossing with the camino Forestal on the pass. Continuing on path along riff until Haragan (wide terrace fields). From here follow well marked trail until Cuevas Blancas. Several houses and stables in ruins. Return on the same trail or continuation in direction SS. This part is partially exposed and badly marked (cearns). The bifurcation to Haragan is extremely difficult to find.

Alternative trail to pole path. Entry at forest road crossing. Runs along cliff to area de pena. Steep ascent to Haragan.

Short descending trail. Follow the sign posts. Arrival at bus station of Igualero.
Igualero2Pavon
Very nice trek above the canyon of La Dama. Head down the village street of Igualero until sign post at left. Trail above the impressing valley of La Dama with view on Fortaleza.
Pavon2Chipude
Main road until trail toward Pavon. Trail until Fortaleza. Here downward until main street. Follow the sign to the left following road for 50 m. Then right traversing orchards up to the road. Follow road until Chipude.
Peraza2Leja
Nice but demanding circuit. Start at restaurant Peraza. Access to the trail behind the bus station in direction to roque de Agando. Pass the Ermita Virgin de las Nieves. Facing Agando descend right toward la Leja.After the long but nice descent turn right until bifurcation to Peraza. Long and nice ascent to the bus station. The rewarding beer is waiting at Peraza. Also recommended in the opposite sens.
ValleHermoso2Arguamul
Nice path above the Roques de los Organos. Startt at 500 m before the beach of ValleHermoso. Ascension until mirodor BuenaVista. To the left along the coast until Eremita Sta. Clara. From there steep descent to the right until Arguamul.

Start at petrol station. Steep ascent to the Encantadora dam. Continuing road to Embrosio. After 1 km steep path left to El Tion. Descent on shepard path to the Garabato dam. Road back to ValleHermoso. Nice view on Roque el Cano.
